Here’s what the organizers of IndieLisboa 2021 say about it:
“The 18th edition of the festival takes place from August 21 to September 6 at Culturgest, Cinema São Jorge, Cinemateca Portuguesa, Cinema Ideal and Biblioteca Palácio Galveias, and brings to the city dozens of films for 17 days, as well as open-air cinema, debates, workshops, masterclasses, meetings, and a special program for the younger audience on IndieJúnior.
Among the news of this year’s edition are the complete retrospective of french director Sarah Maldoror’s work, the Silvestre focus on the work of Camilo Restrepo, and the rediscovering of films that have long been kept in the drawer.”
