The Convent of the Trinity of Mocambo, today used by the Hydrographic Institute, was originally built in 1198 by S. João da Mata and S. Felix de Valois for the Hospital Order of the Holy Trinity of the Rescue of the Captives. The construction of the building was made from a cluster of small houses that were enlarged and joined. Tours must be booked in advance via email or phone.
Tours are in English and Portuguese.
