WEEKLY to 2018 | WALKING TOUR | Walking History | Alfama | Suggested Donation

May 27, 2017 @ 10:30 - 13:30

Free

From the organizers:

Every Tuesday and Saturday at 10h30, Live History holds the Alfama Walking Tour — a tour accompanied by Crusaders and Moors…

Cross the downtown of Lisbon, enter Alfama, the oldest neighborhood of the city, and end up at the famous flea market held on the same day of the week. Learn the history and legends of the old city in its most representative neighborhoods walking through its narrow alleys up and down the hills.

Along the way, we will be visiting points of interest in the historic center of the city on a guided tour where history, stories, and fun facts come together.

Join us around 10:30 by the statue at the center of Praça Dom Pedro IV. Comfortable shoes and a water bottle are advisable.

These are free walking tours: donations are asked for at the end of it, so don’t forget us when the time comes to “pass the helmet.”
