“Drawing is the honesty of the art. There is no possibility of cheating. It is either good or bad.”
Salvador Dali.
Mr. Salvador Domingo Felipe Jacinto Dalí i Domènech, First Marquis of Dalí de Púbol (yep, that’s his name) was, of course, right. And, aside from having a very long name, he knew a thing or two about drawing the human body.
If you, too, want to know a thing or two about drawing the human body (and have 20€ to spare), Anjos70 invites you to their interactive, experimental workshop this Friday.
Here’s what they say:
“MAX – 7-8 PEOPLE.
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE NOT REQUIRED.
During the workshop, we will explore different techniques and ways to see the body. Participants will draw draped bodies, working on ideas which will hopefully free them from pre-conceived ideas of drawing.
The workshop is about letting go and having fun – a break from work and adult responsibility! Letting loose and exploring your primal creativity in a fun and relaxing environment.
In the afternoon we will have a nude model to draw.
All materials will be provided but if there are certain pens/ pencils/ paints/ brushes/ potatoes/ etc that you wish to bring — that is encouraged.
1-hour break for lunch.”
10€ DEPOSIT + 20€ (MBWAY or CASH) on the day.
