Despite its labyrinth-like charming interior, it was actually the outdoor patio in the back that drew us to this restaurant. In the summer heat, the trellis provided shade to keep us cool and the lemonade, gazpacho, and mushroom appetizer helped us satiate our hunger while not bringing on the overly-fed sweats that can come from a large lunch in August. The service was friendly, though admittedly a little on the slow side, but for a restaurant in Chiado, we were delighted at the menu options and the prices. Their craft beer menu isn’t large, but they had enough options to make my thirsty partner happy, and their cheesecake with red fruits dessert gave me a delightful sugar fix for the afternoon. Since the interior can fit so many so comfortably, this spot is recommended for groups in all kinds of weather.
