Han Table Barbecue in Anjos is one of those places that’s there to remind you how fun dinner is supposed to be. You sit down, the grill fires up, and suddenly everyone at the table is a grill master. The meats are the headline act — beautifully flavoured, confidently seasoned, occasionally spicy enough to keep you on your toes — with Iberian pork, lean beef, and punchy marinades all pulling their weight. The vegetables and kimchee hold their own too, which is no small feat when there’s this much meat involved.

The interactive grilling is half the joy, but the staff makes sure it never tips into chaos. They swap out the grill surface every ten minutes (a small but deeply appreciated detail) and hover just enough to be helpful without killing the vibe. Service is genuinely warm and attentive, the kind that makes you feel looked after rather than managed.

Cold noodles can be a divisive dish, but Han’s naengmyeon lands nicely: slightly sweet, well-balanced, and surprisingly refreshing alongside all that smoke and spice. Even if you’re usually skeptical, it’s worth ordering.

Bottom line: Han Table Barbecue is social, satisfying, and refreshingly different from the usual Lisbon dinner routine. Come hungry, bring friends, and prepare to leave smelling faintly of success and grilled beef.
