Just one flight down from Topo of this unassuming Centro Comércial building in Martim Moniz is a very large Chinese restaurant — with a large terrace and an equally large menu. Avoid the crowd upstairs by opting for a bottle of decently-priced wine with a little elbow room on this terrace. Compliment your good decision-making with a plate of algae (I’m not kidding — it’s awesome), a round of dumplings, a helping of pork rice with veggies, and a smattering of Peking duck with good friends. The service is snappy and polite, and the food is deliciously made and well-priced. It’s great for groups or an intimate dinner with a view of the square below and the castle in the distance.
