If you’re looking for a decent pitcher of margaritas with a view, then look no further. If you’re looking for salsa or sky-high nachos like your mamacita used to make, you’ll be disappointed. But don’t despair! Avoid paying through the nose for sub-par salsa and instead, opt for the ceviche, which is basically fish and salsa together. Pair it with the Bistec en salsa jalapeño for a close encounter with a dish that once resembled authentic Mexican food. The price tag is sometimes a bit more than you might expect, but you pay for the atmosphere. On a nice day, frozen tequila on the patio is worth the trek out to Algés: Atlas usually pairs our venture with a bike ride along the Tejo.
