Don’t mind the #hashtag name – this place serves excellent food

Shockingly, given the restaurant name’s unfortunate similarity to a McDonald’s advertisement, this little cliffside joint delivers the goods, and delivers them in style. Several restaurants in Casa da Guincho, as this walled-off area is called, offer views of the Portuguese Riviera as spectacular as LOVit’s. But only a couple could match it for the quality of its food, which ranges from ceviches to hamburgers and sushi, a combination that scared us at first but worked out in the end, thanks to a clever strain of ingredients running through all parts of the menu bringing it all together. The service is more attentive than what we’ve come to expect at LOVit’s neighbor restaurants, but you should still be prepared to wait longer than in Lisbon.
