This bustling little bistrot is the convenient place to meet for a laid-back drink with your bestie or a relaxed meal with your significant other. The Parisian-style cafe tables and chairs lead you to the entrance of this small restaurant, which can get packed quickly, as word has quickly spread about the small but mighty menu and the excellent, attentive service the staff provides.
Fresh, tasty, and quick, each plate was well crafted and seasoned. We began with the steak tartare, which is one of the best we’ve had since our last trip to O Galeto, but without the pomp and circumstance that comes with the preparation. The tender, savory, and generous portion was a delight.
We also tried the Maria pizza, complete with anchovies, capers, and black olives. The crust was the perfect blend of crispy and chewy, slightly charred on the bottom, and all in all delicious. I, for one, can’t wait to go back for another red from their wine list paired with another of their inventive pizzas. My partner will undoubtedly seek this spot out for another negroni in the perfectly heavy cut glass tumbler.
