Offering probably the best sound system, lighting and live music in Lisbon, Musicbox sells tickets at the door that typically include some drink tickets. Their musical acts vary from DJs to traditional bands, both local and international. If you aren’t sure of the crowd or type of music playing on any given night, just talk to one of the people with the clipboard out front, on the desirable side of the velvet ropes. They’ll usually give you an unbiased assessment of what’s going on inside before you pay anywhere from 10€ to 15€ to enter (that is, unless you’re a woman, as sometimes you are allowed in for free).
