From pernil (pork leg) to salmon, this local joint in Santos does it right. This is where the locals gather over piping hot plates of simple traditional fare at a good price. The staff knows most people by face, if not by name, and they generally remember your usual order if you’ve visited more than once so when we don’t feel like making decisions, this is where we opt to go. Pull up a chair, order a bottle of house wine with your bitoque or bife de mostarda (steak with mustard sauce) and settle in for a relaxing, simple meal among friends. Great for groups as the inside is large and accommodating with it’s large, long tables, or go for a more intimate dinner on the esplanada outside if the weather permits.
