Sure it’s strapped onto the side of a hotel, but don’t let that distract you from the seriously crispy leitão specialty in store. This region is known for its suckling pig, so if you’re driving through, it’s kind of sacrilegious if you don’t stop in someplace for a taste. It was the smell that drew us to this place, and we were delighted that our expectations were more than met. A yummy pepper sauce, a flaky skin, and melt-in-your-mouth meat, this was certainly the right choice. Their outdoor seating was comfortable and makes you feel as if you aren’t on the side of the highway (you are…). Don’t let that stop you, though – this place is not to be missed.
