Pano da Boca
Dramatic fondue for two atop a local theater
In a stylish open atrium-style space above the Teatro Aberto, this modern restaurant offers an inventive menu at an affordable price. Another Atlasser and I entered hungry and ordered the ooey-gooey melty four-cheese fondue appetizer to split, which came piping hot, served in a bread bowl with a side of freshly-baked toasts (for only 7€). We had requested one house steak in beer sauce to follow, but by the time it arrived, we realized our stomachs were no match for what we had ordered. The sauce tasted like heaven and the beef was perfectly prepared, but even so, we had to take a significant cut of it to go. The meal, the service, the space: all was top-notch and we will be back for an encore soon, with a party of three!
