The two guys that run this place treat you like family if you go more than once for their delicious lunch or even if you just pop in for one of their signature egg sandwiches and a coffee. The former is as close as I’ve found to a New York style “egg on a roll” so when you’ve gotta have it, this is the spot to get it with only a half order of the grease you might be used to. For lunch, their specials vary but I recommend the arroz do pato or the pernil, but get there early. This typical spot can get crowded at lunch and they might run out of some dishes of the day. If you’ve got a computer and need a good spot to get some work done, this is one of Atlas’ favorites. They leave you alone when you pull out your laptop and the wifi rarely goes out.
