Portugal has its first Iberian lynx cub birth of 2021 | Wilder (PT)

The three cubs were born on Feb 27 at the Centro Nacional de Reprodução do Lince-ibérico (CNRLI – Iberian Lynx National Reproduction Center). The center reports it was a natural birth and the mother Juromenha is properly looking after the cubs. 

The Iberain Lynx has been on the endangered species list since June of 2015. It’s estimated to have a current population of 894.
