Portugal moved up 13 places in Gender Gap Report for 2021 | Visão (PT)

Portugal is currently ranked number 22 out of 156 countries in the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) annual Gender Gap Report. The country moved up 13 spots compared to its rank of 35 in the previous report.

This figure is significant because it goes against the global trend of regression in progress achieved on matters of gender equality, as a result of the worldwide pandemic.
