Portugal welcomes 24 refugees arriving from Egypt | 24 Sapo (PT)

Portugal received 24 refugees transferring to the country via Egypt on Tuesday, March 30.

They are originally from Somalia (2), Ethiopia (8), Syria (7), and Sudan (7) and will be accommodated in the regions of Loures, Lisbon, Almada, and Trofa.

The country has so far received 696 refugees through the National Resettlement Program for The United Nations Refugee Agency.
