Portugal’s revamped golden visa scheme to boost investment funds | Reuters

Reuters has an optimistic view of what happens now that rich foreigners can no longer buy their way into the European Union through a real estate purchase in Portugal:

“Putting money into investment funds has been an option under the Portuguese scheme since 2015, but is now expected to be its principal channel,” Reuters writes.
