Portuguese far-right leader criticized over police shooting comments | The Guardian

“The officer who shot [Odair] Moniz should be ‘decorated, not indicted,’ said André Ventura, leader of the far-right Chega party, which prompted “[f]ormer politicians, musicians and lawyers from across Portugal” to file a criminal complaint against Ventura, according to The Guardian.

That officer has been charged with manslaughter, according to AFP reports cited by The Guardian.
