Portuguese Parliament Approves 12th State of Emergency, March 2-16

The measures for the latest state of emergency are coming later today or tomorrow morning, but don't expect much to change.

The measures are expected to be much the same as the current state of emergency and will be published by the government here shortly. See below for our coverage, but in a nutshell: stay home, schools are closed, restaurants are only doing take-out, etc. The numbers are getting much, much better — but not quickly enough.

To see who voted how on the 12th state of emergency today, head to tvi24 or Público, but you probably will not find any surprises there.
