Reflector #28: Helvetia – “Portugal”

The mysterious Helvetia do Portugal, mysteriously.


Why would an alternative band from the American Pacific Coast bear the alternative name for Switzerland? Probably because it’s where their frontman Jason Albertini grew up. Why would they write a song about distant Portugal? No idea, one can only assume. I couldn’t tell you from the lyrics either, as they are imperceptible. But what does it matter? Nothing. It sounds great. Enjoy!
