Why would an alternative band from the American Pacific Coast bear the alternative name for Switzerland? Probably because it’s where their frontman Jason Albertini grew up. Why would they write a song about distant Portugal? No idea, one can only assume. I couldn’t tell you from the lyrics either, as they are imperceptible. But what does it matter? Nothing.
