This canopy of fabric remnants blowing calmly in the breeze covers a great place to sit on the stairs in Mouraria which are hidden from all the hustle of the busy streets. Snacks, tostas, and hummus are available along with the occasional grilled fare done right in the courtyard. There are board game nights on Thursday for those who like to game a little. At least once, try the jantar atravessado: One of the neighbors cooks something traditional from their country. (Mouraria still has some original immigrants living there from all around the world).
