For top-notch Chinese cuisine at a low price, you shouldn’t miss this buffet and ala carte spot in Telheiras. There are corner tables inside with lazy susans on top, so that’s the first giveaway that it’s the real deal. The staff is super-friendly and go out of their way to make you feel welcome, and they don’t shame you with the stink eye when you’ve just finished your fourth helping. Just in front of the entrance you’ll find a fountain bubbling pleasantly, and if you peer inside, you can see live turtles hanging out. Don’t worry, they’re just pets, not menu items. Try their peking duck for a yummy ala carte experience, and wash it down with a Tsing Tao Chinese beer.
