An Atlas go-to spot for dining in large groups with varying dietary restrictions and taste preferences
€€
Marquês de Pombal
Daily, 12h – 23h
Having won Atlas’ Best of Lisboa twice in the category of “Best Indian/Nepalese Restaurant”, this spot is clearly a fan favorite. Big enough for large groups while cozy enough for a table for two, this place offers excellent momos (both steamed and fried), killer papadum, naan, dahl, and Biryani dishes, and serves it all with a smile. There are plenty of vegetarian options sure to tickle the fancy of even the strictest palette, and loads of delectable dishes fit for carnivorous cravings. To that end, we recommend the ever-popular lamb saag, the mango shrimp, and the tandoori chicken.
The central location makes this spot ideal to kick off the evening with friends over a few bottles of reasonably priced local wine or beer. Definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for a tasty treat near Marquês.
