If you like to discuss Russian literature, you might want to pop in and have a chat with the well-read and very friendly owner. The inside is cozy and casual with large wooden tables and high ceilings above. The bar generally has petiscos (small plates) at the front under a glass case you can select from to compliment your beer. It’s the perfect place to go with a book or magazine and relax, or even to sit and catch the game on the television which, thankfully for non-sports fans, is on mute unless requested otherwise. A good, simple escape from the otherwise busy streets outside, and a great place to get some work done.
