Good Mexican food in Lisbon has proven to be a difficult thing to find for those of us who crave it. Either it’s over-priced or it has nothing to do with Mexico, but finally, our prayers have been answered in Cais do Sodré. Aside from their impressive selection of mezcal and tequila (and their intimate knowledge of a margarita vs. a gimlet), they also offer Negro Modelo, a delicious Mexican beer. The seating is family-dining style with long tables and benches and the food it cafeteria-style. Nothing fancy, no expensive china, just paper towels and delicious dripping tacos. Olé.
