An unassuming exterior leads to a great spot for a surprising fusion of Central and South American cuisine, with a touch of flavors from around the world.
Atlas was led to this spot by an in-the-know local foodie of Mexican origin who is our go-to source for all things tacos and tequila. When we heard there were to be bean flautas, ajo blanco, pork and mushroom tacos, and Equadorian mixed cevice in our future, we couldn’t resist. Little did we know that there would be all this and so much more for us in store at Trinca, where the menu doesn’t stop south of the U.S. border. There were amazing ribs Vindaloo-style, Nepalese courgette, and Cuban “chocolate cigars” to be had, along with organic Portuguese wines and inventive cocktails with mezcal and more. Where has this place been hiding?
The menu board is changed daily to ensure the place delivers fresh menu ideas with fresh ingredients that keep devotees returning for more. We’ve heard they also have tortilla soup, which, based on our incredible experience the first time around, is just the invitation we were hoping for to return with good friends to this charming, no-fuss restaurant.
