Fundação José Saramago

Fundação José Saramago

Houses in the iconic Casa dos Bicos (constructed in 1523, and certainly different from any other tiled building in the city), the José Saramago Foundation will be a wonder to anyone who’s a fan of his writing. The permanent exhibit delves into the workings of Saramago’s daily life and a visit is worth it just for that, but the foundation also hosts various lectures, performances, and more.
