If you need to impress a date or a business contact (or if they are the same person, especially), take them to this place and let the doorman know you’re going to the bar. He will be surprised, and so will your date, but you’ve just hacked Santos, so parabens (congrats). It isn’t advertised from the outside, but once you enter and go up the cobblestone steps, you’ll be thrilled to find a fairy-land garden with not-so-expensive wine. Don’t expect attentive service, but you won’t be in a rush to leave, so it all works out.
Vintage, up-cycled, second-hand, or just plain USED: whatever you call not-new clothes, here’s where to find them in Lisbon, from bargain bins to boutiques.
